Apply to the Summer Session In Epidemiology
In just one to three intensive weeks, you can gain valuable knowledge through our hands-on, skills-based curriculum and even earn a Michigan summer epidemiology certificate.
Application Deadline
Applications must be received by June 1, 2025, to ensure course confirmation and avoid a $50 late registration fee.
Payment Information
Full tuition payment must be submitted or postmarked by June 15, 2025. Payments made after June 15th will incur a $50 late payment fee.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
The Summer Session reserves the right to cancel a course due to low enrollment, in which case students will receive a full refund of their enrollment fee.
Course Withdrawal
To withdraw from a course, students must email neko@umich.edu by 4:00 p.m. on July 1, 2025, with a reason for cancellation. The $60 application fee is non-refundable. Refunds will be processed within 30 days after the program ends (July 31, 2025).

Costs & Aid
Summer Session in Epidemiology tuition is based upon whether courses are taken non-credit or for University of Michigan graduate credit (for Michigan residents and non-Michigan residents). Funding opportunities are available for participants on the basis of financial need and academic merit.
I enjoyed the Summer Session in Epidemiology so much that I attended two years in a row. The faculty were superb and I enjoyed connecting with classmates in different public health and medical fields.
